About this site |
| I have included this page to describe the tools and methods used to
create this site. I began developing a home page one night almost by
accident when I came across a link for a free homepage. I soon began to
try out different HTML editors and learn the basics of HTML. Within a
month I had tried several different sites and learned HTML and
JavaScript (to some degree). I will attempt to describe the methods and
tools used to create this site. All of the tools and most of the
resources I have used are available on the links and downloads areas for
web developers. HTML Editors: I used HoTMetaL Pro to design and edit the basic HTML pages as well as for most of the graphic elements such as the buttons. The JavaScript that is embedded is just some custom code that I found examples of on different pages or in the books I describe on the links page. The Java Applet used on the Photo Album Page is available for members of GeoCities and is used there. I have designed this site to be used with version 4.0 browsers or later and is written as HTML 4.0. If you have an earlier version browser please consider upgrading for free by downloading Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator from the Downloads page. If you have any questions or would like to correspond with me about this site or web page development in general, please contact me via on of the methods provided on the contact page. |
